PET

I had the exam Friday afternoon, and I got the result earlier than it was promised: Friday afternoon. One of my wonderful friends visited me while Dr. Lehmann entered. We listened to the result, holding each other's hands.

And yesssss!

The PET CT didn't see tumor elsewhere. Of course the doctor immediately warned me, that we cannot lean back yet: we cannot trust a hundred percent in the pet result either. But at least there is a little hope.

He also informed me, that he try to set the date of the operation next Friday (June 16th). It is not an easy task: originally he is busy until the end of July, and he has to postpone other surgeries beacause of me. Moreover he needs to organize a good team for the same day too. So he didn't promised the Friday, but I think, he mentioned it because he sees a chance.

Megvolt a vizsgálat péntek reggel, és meg is kaptam az eredményt korábban, mint ígérték: már péntek délután. Épp egy nagyszerű barátom látogatott meg, mikor Dr. L. bejött. Egymás kezét szorítva hallgattuk meg az eredményt.

A PET CT nem látott máshol tumorokat. Persze a doki azonnal figyelmeztetett, hogy még nem dőlhetünk hátra. Nem bízhatunk 100%-ig a PET eredményében sem. De legalább van egy kis remény.

Arról is tájékoztatott, hogy megpróbálja kitűzni az operáció időpontját következő péntekre. Ez nem könnyű, mert eredetileg be van táblázva egészen július végéig, és most miattam más műtéteket kell elhalasztania. Ráadásul meg kell szerveznie egy jó csapatot is ugyanarra a napra. Szóval nem ígérte meg a pénteket, de azt hiszem, nem is említette volna meg, ha nem lát rá esélyt, hogy sikerül.
